As your son throughout the years, you’ve taught me how to handle some of life’s biggest fears.
The biggest one of all I’m facing with you hear today, because your precious life has been taken away.
One thing you taught me was to keep going and carry on, it’s not so easy now you’re gone.
You loved Sonia and myself with all your heart, we love you right back and we will never be apart.
So let’s move on to why we’re here today, to celebrate your life in the most special way.
From a singer in a band with a beautiful voice, music was in your heart and a perfect choice.
You lived your life in your own special way, I never left your side and wouldn’t have it any other way.
You always loved the little things, like the butterflies on your wall with the most beautiful wings.
Your TV was one of your little comforts in life, it seemed to take you away from any trouble or strife.
You loved to bake and cook, and make rock buns and trifle, and you’d always serve them with your sweet smile.
Each morning I made you a cup of tea, and before I left for the day you always told me you loved me.
I know the pain of losing you will never go away, but the memories I have are here to stay.
You show’n immense strength throughout your last days, I’m so glad I was in front of your eyes when they started to haze.
I will never forget upon your last breath, I watched a tear roll down your cheek as you confronted death.
But because I know the inner strength you had would never be gone, death never stood a chance and you are now living on.
I love you mum and this isn’t goodbye, and I know you would tell me not to cry,So instead what I’m going to say, is I’m always going to love you more and more each day.
To the world you may have been one person, but to one person you’re the world, love you tons,
From your ever loving son Adrian. Or as you would call me your bib
